I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location was awesome, with a free shuttle right next door to the skiing resorts, making it super convenient for outdoor activities. It was also within walking distance to downtown Banff and the grocery store, which was really convenient. The staff here were super nice and friendly, and they gave me some great advice for traveling in the area. The service was top-notch, with housekeeping always keeping the rooms clean and tidy. Plus, the hotel had great amenities like a terrace, dining table, and garden furniture, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable with privacy curtains for added privacy.

Price and location
It is usual hostel, not too clean, lack of privacy, thats OK, But some people seem to be workers living there for the season. They sit out in the courtyard, very loud and disrespectful, keeping everybody else awake.

The hostel had very friendly staff that was there to offer help whenever. They were very patient and did not mind being asked a lot of questions. It was my first time in Banff so I literally asked every question i could about the town and they were willing and also able to answer all of my questions. I felt very at home and warm staying at this hostel. Another good thing about staying at the hostel is that you get to dorm with other people so it was nice to meet others from all around the world. This is not the place to be if you want to live in luxury but it is the place to be for those travelling alone wanting to meet new people and have a lot of gun.

The sink area in the room was a bit noisy at night.
